The challenge

The bank had outgrown its server room and had no tested recovery site.

The approach

We designed both sites, managed the build, migrated workloads in planned windows and ran a full failover test with the bank’s team.

Technology

Power and cooling, virtualised compute and storage, network segmentation, backup and replication between sites.

Implementation

Build and migration completed in stages over nine months without unplanned downtime.
